This website helps Dexter employees understand their benefits. Please read the information below about how to use it.

Information only

This site summarizes the benefits available to Dexter’s benefits-eligible employees. It is for general information only.

• The official plan documents, including Summary Plan Descriptions, insurance contracts and policies, govern your benefits. If anything on this site differs from the plan documents, the plan documents control.
• Dexter may change, amend or end any benefit plan at any time, for any reason, as permitted by law.
• The benefits on this site do not apply to employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement (CBA), except where a page says otherwise, such as the 401(k). If you are covered by a CBA, contact your local Dexter HR representative.
• Nothing on this site is a guarantee of current or future benefits, a contract of employment, or a promise of continued employment.
• You make your benefit elections in ADP Workforce Now. Elections are not made on this site.

Dex, the AI benefits assistant

Dex is an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant that answers general questions about Dexter benefits using the content on this site.

• Dex does not know who you are, and it cannot see your elections, claims or balances. Because Dexter’s medical plans differ by work location, Dex may ask where you work so it can give you the right plan details.
• Dex works on personal devices, such as your phone or home computer. It isn’t available on Dexter’s company network.
• Dex can make mistakes. Always confirm important details in your plan documents or with Quantum Health before making a decision.
• Dex does not give medical, legal, tax or financial advice, and it does not recommend which plan to choose.
• Please do not share personal health information, Social Security numbers, member IDs or other sensitive personal details with Dex.
• Questions and answers may be logged so the benefits team can improve the site. Logs are kept for no more than 90 days.
• Dex’s answers are produced by an AI service provider under contract. Your questions are not used to train AI models.

Translations

This site and Dex are available in English, Spanish and Burmese. The Spanish and Burmese versions of the site are produced by automated machine translation, and Dex answers in the language you write in. Translations are provided for convenience and may contain errors. If there is any difference between the English version and a translated version, the English version controls.

Privacy

• You do not need to sign in or create an account to use this site.
• We measure how the site is used, such as pages visited, language and type of device, with an analytics tool run by Dexter’s benefits consultant. It does not use cookies. It does not record your name or what you ask Dex, and IP addresses are shortened so they can’t identify you. The site does not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.
• Dex does not use cookies or tracking technologies.
• Your benefits records are held by Dexter, ADP, Quantum Health and the plan carriers, not by this site.

This site links to websites run by others, such as ADP, Quantum Health and insurance carriers. Those sites have their own terms of use and privacy policies. Dexter is not responsible for their content.

We work to keep this site accurate and current, but information may change or contain errors. The site and Dex are provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, Dexter and its service providers are not responsible for decisions made based only on information from this site or from Dex.
